Nunamae rugs are made of recycled fibers from the textile industry in Portugal.

The raw material used for making our rugs is cotton (95%); supplemented by other fibers (5%) recovered in textile factories in Portugal.
Nunamae transforms the fabric scraps that were going to be thrown away, into beautiful, high quality and extremely comfortable rugs.
Nunamae offers quality products, made by artisans or family businesses, based in Portugal, who make rugs with minimum of resources, and with very little or no environmental impact. At the same time, they promote the production of local artisans and businesses, advocating a circular and fair economy for all
